London Nudgeathon

2nd place, London Nudgeathon 2026

The London Nudgeathon is a behavioural-science hackathon that brings together students from universities including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, and Warwick to design nudge-based interventions for real-world briefs set by partner organisations, in an intensive, time-boxed format. In the 2026 edition, the brief was set by Save the Children's Nepal Climate Programme, and that is where the concept that would become The White Lung-Ta first took shape. Placing 2nd in a competition judged by a panel of behavioural-science and strategy professionals (PwC Strategy&, BIT, VML Health, Dectech, Gorilla Experiment Builder, BeSci.io, Think.Test.Do) was the idea's first external validation, before it became an independent project.
